IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LONG FORM POPULATION CENCUS 2020 (SP2020 CONTINUED)

Based on Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is mandated to carry out a Population Census at least once every ten years. In 2022, BPS will carry out SP2020 continued, where the purpose is to provide data on the number, composition, distribution and characteristics of the population and obtain data on demographic parameters (fertility, mortality and migration) for the purposes of population projections and SDGs indicators., as the basis for setting government plans and policies.

The SP2020 Continued is not only the responsibility of BPS but our collective responsibility, to help make the SP2020 Continued successful in Labuhanbatu Regency. Related to this, attending the SP2020 Continued Socialization event representatives from relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), Camat. Ethnic Representatives, and Village Representatives; which held on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Hotel Platinum Rantauprapat. Hoped that the support of all parties will make the Advanced SP2020 activities in Labuhanbatu Regency a success.
