The Exchange Rate of Farmers in Sumatera Utara Province in November 2019 was 98.91

• In November 2019, the Sumatera Utara Province NTP (2012 = 100) was recorded at 98.91, up 0.85 percent compared to the October 2019 NTP which was 98.08.

• The NTP increase in November 2019 was caused by the increase in the NTP of the Food Crop subsector by 0.71 percent, and the NTP of the People's Plantation Plant subsector by 2.84 percent. While the Horticulture subsector NTP decreased by 1.23 percent, the Livestock Subsector NTP dropped by 0.54 percent, and the Fisheries Subsector NTP dropped by 0.50 percent.

• Changes in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) reflect the rural inflation / deflation rate. In November 2019, rural deflation occurred in Sumatera Utara by 0.20 percent. This was caused by the decline in the index of the foodstuffs group by 0.60 percent. While the index of the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose by 0.15 percent, the housing group index rose by 0.17 percent, the clothing group index rose by 0.11 percent, the health group index rose by 0.12 percent, the group index Education, Recreation, and Sports rose by 0.14 percent, and the transportation and communication group index increased by 0.01 percent.

• Sumatera Utara Province Agricultural Exchange (NTUP) in November 2019 in the amount of 108.11 or an increase of 0.66 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
