The number of Sumatera Utara Tourists in April 2020 was 17 visits

• The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through four entrances in April 2020 reached 17 visits, a decrease of 99.78 percent compared to those coming in March 2020 reaching 7,832 visits. Similarly, when compared with the same month in 2019, the number of foreign tourists in April 2020 decreased by 99.92 percent, from 21,962 visits in April 2019 to 17 visits.

• In April 2020, tourists from Singapore were the most visitors with 5 visits or 29.41 percent of the total tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of five-star hotels in Sumatera Utara in April 2020 reached an average of 11.93 percent, down 17.27 points compared to March 2020 of 29.20 percent.

• The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in April 2020 reached 1.75 days, or up 0.22 points compared to March 2020.

• The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during April 2020 reached 29,386 people, down 82.95 percent compared to March 2020 which reached 172,348 people.

• The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing in April 2020 was 227 people, down 96.37 percent compared to the previous month of 6,261 people.
