Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in October 2023 reached 14,272 visits, while in September 2023 there were 15,864 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.
  • For the period January - October 2023, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 265.90 percent when compared to the same period in 2022, namely from 44,685 visits in January - October 2022, it rose to 163,504 visits in the 2023 period.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatera Utara in October 2023 averaged 47.64 percent, or an increase of 1.25 points compared to September 2023 of 46.39 percent.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.49 days during October 2023, an increase of 0.01 points compared to September 2023 of 1.48 days.
