Number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during October 2023 reached 197,989 people, or an increase of 3.78 percent

·  The number of domestic passengers coming to Sumatera Utara  through Kualanamu International Airport in October 2023 reached 208,845 people, or an increase of 2.45 percent compared to the previous month of 203,850 people.

·  The number of air transport passengers to foreign destinations, both using national and foreign flights, in October 2023 decreased by 1.40 percent compared to September 2023, namely from 75,268 people to 74,218 people.

·  The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transportation passengers departing from Belawan Harbor in October 2023 was recorded at 7,675 people, an increase of 246.34 percent compared to the previous month of 2,216 people, while the number of passengers arriving in October 2023 was recorded at 9,387 people, or an increase 394.05 percent compared to the previous month of 1,900 people.

·  During October 2023, inter-island freight transportation for goods loading activities amounted to 12,096 tonnes, or a decrease of 63.94 percent compared to September 2023 of 33,548 tonnes.

·  Goods unloading activities in October 2023 increased 7.16 percent, from 501,659 tons in September 2023 to 537,574 tons in October 2023.
