Abstract

■ Labuhanbatu Regency's economy based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2023 reached IDR 45.76 trillion and GRDP at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 26.58 trillion.

■ Labuhanbatu Regency's economy in 2023 will grow by 5.03 percent, higher than the achievement in 2022 which will grow by 4.80 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Field; Car and Motorcycle Repairs by 6.85 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was in the Household Consumption Expenditure Component at 5.67 percent.

■ Three business fields that play a dominant role in the GRDP of Labuhanbatu Regency according to business fields in 2023, namely: Processing Industry Business Fields at 33.76 percent; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields amounted to 27.96 percent; as well as Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Fields, and Car and Motorbike Repairs of 17.57 percent.

■ Based on the expenditure side, the Household Consumption Expenditure (PKRT) component provides the largest contribution, namely 45.19 percent; followed by the Net Exports of Goods and Services component at 25.68 percent; and the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 21.96 percent.
