Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in September 2023 reached 15,864 visits, while in August 2023 there were 20,941 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.
  • For the January - September 2023 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 349.07 percent when compared to the same period in 2022, namely from 33,231 visits in January - September 2022, it rose to 149,232 visits in the 2023 period.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in September 2023 averaged 46.39 percent, or down 0.47 points compared to August 2023 of 46.86 percent.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.48 days during September 2023, down 0.02 points compared to August 2023 of 1.50 days.
