Abstract

The increase in HDI 2023 is supported by all its constituent dimensions. One of the four indicators that make up the HDI experienced accelerated growth, namely Expected Years of Schooling (HLS), which grew 2.32 percent in 2023 and only grew 1.65 percent in 2022. Meanwhile, three other indicators experienced a slowdown in growth, namely Life Expectancy at birth ( UHH) which grows 0.47 percent in 2022 and only grows 0.45 percent in 2023, Average Years of Schooling (RLS) which grows from 1.62 percent in 2022 and only grows 0.96 percent in 2023, and Real Expenditure per Capita which grew by 2.34 percent in 2022 then experienced a slowdown in growth of 1.71 percent in 2023.
